Pedro, our man,

Is from far away,

Yet here to stay

In this distant land.



Having ended a work day

A smile appears

As he thinks of what's dear;

He's going to play.



Soccer's the game,

and he meets his new friends;

The fun never ends

where they all strive for fame.



But oh, poor Pedro,

If he only knew

What this troubled wind blew

To his athletic show.



For up on the hill

Stands a man strong and tall.

A man who knows all

About disc-golf, Bill.



From up on this tee,

He looks down on the dammed.

It can be one man,

Vanmaster B.



The Vanmaster surveys,

The Vanmaster stretches,

The Vanmaster wretches,

Then farts and prays.



As he clenches his fist,

he spins on his toe.

With a whipcord like throw

He lets go the disc.



The path is straight,

But the path is high,

Yet the disc would still fly

About 298.



It begins to descend

A hard left it took.

Pedro doesn't look.

It is the start of the end.



It comes from on high,

This angular force.

On the edge of the course

The disc buries in his thigh.



A shriek escapes him

Before he can help it.

It leaves a small pit

On his leg that is grim.



Fear rushes through,

Followed by rage.

Of course, at this age,

He doesn't know what to do.



He looks at his teammate,

Who is now on his side,

Mouth open wide,

Laughing at his fate.



The others, the same,

So Pedro joins in,

Fakes a large grin

In spite of the pain.



As Vanmaster walks near,

Pedro tries to act tough,

But the laughter is too much,

and his friends too dear.



With pleasantries exchanged,

Vanmaster goes his way,

to finish the play

and hit the chains.



So when you're going to throw,

Be sure to yell,

As clear as a bell,

"Watch out Pedro!!"

Is now a pain well known to him.)

Spanks.

It was actually the story about when Adrian hit the soccer player in the leg on #2, but "Adrian" just didn't rhyme with "hill". It really was hilarious.

Speaking of Adrian, I saw him and Al at Parkside yesterday.  Jojo and I pulled up for the awards ceremony and we saw this guy that looked just like Al.  Turned out we parked right next to him.



So Adrian, when are you going to come play with us again?
