The company that I work for, Chef Solutions (dba Orval Kent), is looking for part-time help desk and desktop support. No prior experience is needed although general familiarity with a PC is needed (if you can see and post in this forum, then you have the pre-requisite skills!). The job is part-time (up to 24 hours per week) and the pay is in the neighborhood of $10-12 per hour. Flexibility in hours worked and days worked is available. Here's the job posting cut and pasted (don't let some of that stuff scare you. We have step by step docs to follow and we train):

General Description:
Provide Helpdesk Support and entry level desktop support.
Position Responsibilities:
Tasks- Job Description (Helpdesk/Desktop Support)
* Provide Helpdesk Support:
       1. Answer all calls coming to the helpdesk.
       2. Generate tickets for every single incident
       3. Enter tickets to the Incident Database
       4. Assign tickets to the groups 
* Set up Desktop/laptop PCs with the usage of images
* Resolve basic desktop PC issues
* Build and deploy new PCs and printers as needed
* Setup and configure local and network printers on user's workstations.
* Setup and configure PC modems.
* Perform software and security upgrades as needed.
* Set up new users on the domain
* Reset Passwords
* Install new software for users as needed
* Set up & provide users with user IDs and passwords. (Network, SAP, Phone)
* Assist with the equipment inventory
* Assist remote users with a dial up and VPN issues.
* Assist with procedures documentation

Education/Experience Requirements
•   High School Graduates / College Degree (College Students) a plus.

I was just told that the job is now up to 30 hours per week. You don't have to be available 30 hours but I thought I'd post that it is not limited to 24 hours per week anymore.
