Over the past few years, a Michigan disc golfer ventured out to every single course in Michigan and prepared a large inventory of pictures and information for all of them. She then turned it into a book and an ebook with over 5000 photos.

More info is available on http://www.discgolfmichigan.com/ but it's cheap to buy and there is an absolute ton of information that would be valuable to anyone that is interested in playing those courses. I've not played out of the Midwest, but I would say that my top 15 or 20 favorite courses are all in Michigan so there's a lot of cool stuff to see.

I did not get to play IOS #6 because I was visiting a friend in Kalamazoo.  She lives about 4 miles from Oshtemo.  I got a chance to play about 13 holes of this delightful course.  I can't wait to get back and play again.  The holes I played were all pretty densly wooded.  Most of the fairways were more open than Brown Deer.  it reminded me a bit of Channahon but with denser forest and taller trees. The fairways were corridors in the forest. There are concrete alternates for every hole.  The shorts were challenging and the longs will provide a great challenge for the pros next summer. I wish I had time to finish the round.  I had 2 5's a 4 and a 2. Looking forward to getting back there before Worlds '08.
