Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

Tom McManus

Good luck to the following club members:

Brett Comincioli
Dan Michler
Dave Nelson
Kenny Glassman
Kyle Burnside
Tom McManus
Taylor Cimala
Michael Chavarria
Matt Travis
Matt Rogers
John Jordan
Ron Huebner
Ron Miller
Terry Miller
Spencer Wilken

They are all playing worlds.  I wonder if there is another disc golf club in the US that is sending as many members as Discontinuum.

probably the Kansas City disc golf club.  I think D Nelson has a good chance to get in the top 10.  Brett is certainly due to cash in 1 of these things, so he better get it done this time!  should be a good time, I hope all our local players perform their best.

1 other prediction..somebody from Illinois will get Factored.

A reference to a player who apparently can be distracting to play with.  R.F. Huspen from Des Moines, Iowa.  Kind of like getting Spazzed.

Pools are up.  Looks like IL is in K pool so our schedule looks like:

Tuesday- 8am Water Workds
                2pm Wyandotte County

Wednesday - 8am Prairie Center
                       2pm Shawnee Mission Park

Thursday - Blue Valley (Tee Times)

Friday - 8am Shawnee Mission

Our  Semifinal grouping is 8am at Prairie Center.

I am getting so excited sleep is getting harder and harder haha. GO LAND OF LINCOLNERS!!!

Looks like the 2 highest rated players in the tournament, Blaine Kinkel and Dave Wiggins Jr., are also in K Pool with all of the Illinois Advanced players.  I'm interested to see this Wiggins kid shoot as it appears he's on his way to joining the 1020+ rated elite group of players before long.

I'm hoping to finish in the top 100 and avoid the dreaded blow-up round

Disc Golf Live

I noticed a decent jump in junior numbers, at least in relative terms.  This Worlds starts early enough to miss even the earliest wacky school schedules.  I know last year a few kids were already starting school the week of Worlds.

No sign of Randolph, eh?  Too bad, always like to see how Mike does.  Maybe he'll play the USDGC this year instead.

I'm guessing Feldberg over Nate then McCabe.  Nikko will start hot but fade late.  Or maybe not.

I'd like to see Schackmeister pull off a 2nd straight vic in masters, although that battle should be as close as any other out there.

I'd like to see a first-time champion among the ladies, just for some variety.  But I think it will be Val over Des by a few.

Best of luck to everyone for a safe and fun-filled week in KC.

Would love to see Dave Nelson in the top 10!!! I would say this format favors T. Cimala out of our State though. Both should be very competitive though!
