So, he is going to cash regardless of position. I assume he is in the ace pool.  He did this at Highbridge a few years ago as well. Way to go Brett!

Paul Wright looks to be pulling away in Adv GM. He's from WA, met him last yr through Randy Signor; played a practice round on Sun with him and wound up being on the same card w/ him for (obviously) the 1st round. He made the finals last year. Really good guy, nice to see...

I'm sure it's buried somewhere on the PDGA or Worlds site, but how many players make the semis? I think it's been top third  in the past.

I'm sure it's buried somewhere on the PDGA or Worlds site, but how many players make the semis? I think it's been top third  in the past.

Seems to me like there's no fixed rule.  They usually have a note about it in the players' guide to the tournament.  For a four-pool division like advanced they'll usually take an entire pool to fill an 18-hole course.  The rest kind of depends on how many courses they want to use for the semi finals and how they can fit the pools together.  For micro divisions they often don't have a semi-final.

but where did you find it? That link just shows updated till yesterday morning. I hit mine in the afternoon. I thought maybe it would be a new link for new aces? my bad.
