This will be my first event, is on-site registration allowed? If there are enough spots left anyway.

What time do you think you will be there? Im going to head over after work in the morning. I plan on playing 2 rounds on the permanent course and just working on general strategy for those holes :)

This is a very well balanced course. Has short & technical to long and open. Lots of elevation on the front. If you can 320 straight and hit 30ft putts you are golden!

well Innova decided to wait until the last second to mess with me.  I received a call this morning "oh, well, we're out of stock on max weight XCaliber's, we only have 170-172's, is this ok?" alright, I can live with that.  but then the kicker, "we're out of stock on max weight CFR Destroyers - we only have light weights and 170-172's".  whaaa? and you are just NOW telling me this?  sigh.  So I'm getting half and half of lighties and 170-172's.  I know that these things usually are 1-2 grams heavier than what is written on there, but it's frustrating.  I'll try to contact the people that have pre-order requests in (this is why I wouldn't take any cash ahead of time).

The order was supposed to ship today, haven't received my shipping notice yet.  They might ship it together with my stock order.  Everything will arrive in time for the tournament.

makes me grumpy...

The PDGA Tour Page has been updated.
http://www.pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=7709

I have a trophy for all the divisions on that page as well as a Junior Under 16 that I had made prior to a division change. I will NOT have a trophy for any other divisions.

I will be at the course around Noon on Friday. I'll be there pretty much all day. If you want to register you may do so. Call me @ 847-858-4368. I usually do not answer so leave me a message and i'll get back to you.

I'm hoping to update the PDGA Tour Page tomorrow night before 10pm. You'll get a good idea of how many people have registered. I'd guess the field will be about half full before Saturday. Please arrive to registration early if you were not able to preregister. The weather looks good for Saturday and i've been getting tons of calls and e-mails wanting to hold spots. I have a feeling this event is going to MAX OUT @ 120 players.

The temporary holes will have fly pads and the baskets will be marked with flags Friday. That should be done around 1PM. The baskets will be up by 7:30AM on Saturday.

I was at the park today and took some pictures, I only had a 3 MP camera with me so some of them are fuzzy. But if you haven't had a chance to check out the course or the pin positions, these will give you an idea. I have pictures from every tee, most baskets, and some fairways. If you want to know where a basket is and I don't have a picture of it in there just send me a PM and I will let you know where it is.  There are also some pictures of the creek and bridge on hole 5 for those of you that might be concerned about them. Oh and whoever decided the C pin placement on hole 2 is an evil person lol >:D

The discs are in - they look sweet!  I am very impressed with the detail.  At first I was discouraged because I thought that the stamp would have to be held upside down in order to hold is correctly with your thumb, but then I remembered I'm a leftie :P  It is perfect for righties!

I haven't bagged the pre-orders yet - I will do that after I get some more stuff done.  The TeeRex-X are ALL 175g, and the CFR Destroyers are from 169 (maybe 168) to 172g.  Even the mini's look nice.

Dan Michler

very tired, quick post.

Sinnissippi was seriously an awesome event today run by Brett Comincioli, with merchandise supplied by Scott Pitner.  135 players on 1 course and everything ran smooth.  Unfortnuately 15 players had to be turned away, but what can you do when there was already 2 floater groups out there and the rounds took 4 hours.  Everybody including myself seemed really happy that an event was run at this great course again.   Hopefully this can become an annual event.

only results i remember right now are Hutter won Pro and Scott Reek won advanced.

Matt Travis won Int.  Rob Strasser won Open Grandmaster.  I think Scott Reek's score (-10 I think) would have tied/won the Open division and Rob Strasser's score (-14) would have won by a large margin.

dana

scores up already!  nice work brett.  that was a long, fun day.

good job to scott, mcmanus, michler and everyone who made it happen ( i know there were more)
