I think you mean B (14A). I thought that OB made that hole quite challenging. The google map has been updated.

It definitley made it much tougher. I am out of gas and don't want to mess around with the rope back there. I spend a few hours last year getting it set up and i'm not motivated in doing so this year.

I plan on using paint left over from Rockford around the swamp on 12/18. I don't think i'll have enough for that hole.

Addition.

The tee pads are pretty bad on many holes. Depending on the weather leading up to the weekend and the forecast for the weekend several of the tees may be slightly moved. If there is water on the tee pads they will be moved to the grass.

Mike,

Great Job on the map...again....All of your maps have been top notch this year, and it is really, really appreciated.

One question though....I'm trying to plan out some of my shot selection in advance (knowing that wind and other factors will adjust things a little).  Is there a way to show approximate OB on the Google map?  or can I get a discription of what it was like, using landmarks that are on the map?  I know that the OB may be different than what is on the map, but approximates are fine.

Brett, or anyone else for that matter, feel free to describe what OB is like also

Thanks for any help,

Dave, all the OB is on the course info sheet in this thread. That's what Brett reads from when he does the player's meeting.

I'm looking for more specifics....I can't tell what the swampy part is from a google map...though I think I have a pretty good guess, but I also don't have a clue as to the rope OB on 'A' either.  Thanks.

pickax

No one will know what the OB on A looks like until that morning. I marked the OB swamp on 12 on the google map.

If Jon and Brett don't mind, I might put up some yellow rope on hole 1, also.  It would be a very simple concept.   >:D >:D >:D

Where would you put the rope on hole 1?
I'd make the tall grass o.b.!   :o  >:D  ;D

With no rain in the forecast for the weekend i've changed a few things.

These holes will have rubber tee pads.
1, 5, A (11A), 12, B (14A), & 18.

#1 has room to throw to the right on the limestone.
#5 was moved back behind the tee pad making it approx 25 feet longer. You can throw from the tee pad or grass.
#A (11A) You can throw from the tee pad or dirt.
#11 does not have a rubber tee pad but it has been marked about 10 feet back on the flat part of the tee pad.
#12 is laid in the center of the tee pad.
#B (14A) will be a rubber tee pad only. Not enough room for rubber/dirt tee.
#18 will be rubber tee only with it moved back about 10 feet.

The swamp on 12 & 18 has a paint line around it.
Both drop zones on 12 & 18 have been painted.
