I think i'll work in the Innova sponsorship the same way i do with discraft, with Throw Innova player packs, this time.  I'm also going to do some cool dyed stuff on Innova Star.  It will be priced up because that stuff is time consuming and there's the expense of getting the mask cut.  The player pack will make that stuff very affordable.  If anyone has any special requests for Yoda, Vader, Angry Cub, Bear, Classic Cubs, Chief, Brewers, Stevie Ray, etc., now's the time to shout out. 

Just a reminder, on Saturday three divisions play: Open Pro, Am 2 (Intermediate, Under 935) and Am 4 (Novice, Under 850).  On Sunday ALL other divisions play, including all the gender and age restricted divisions.  Let me see if i can find a trophy disc to show y'all:

Thanks for the info guys, I will probably end up being there.  I'm hoping there is going to be a sweet players handbook for this course like there was at the Irish tourny. 

OBs & the like will usually be given to us at the players meeting, just make sure you're not next to the idiot talking who wants OB strokes so you can listen & you should be all good!   

I'm going to try to put Brett's course info on the back of the score cards. I'll be doing those this week so I'll let you know how they turn out.

Both pages are rolling on the PDGA Tour Page.  Also, i'm not 100% on this but i'm sure Sergio can answer this. I belive this is going to be the last tournament using the original 18 holes. Once construction starts several holes will be eliminated. Is that correct Serg?

This will be the last PDGA SANCTIONED event using the original 18 holes.

There are talks of an informal gathering to bid the original course farewell. I'll post if we decide upon something.

We still don't have a specific date that holes will be removed and others installed. Mother nature needs to begin to cooperate.

If anyone is playing both days and wants to camp with us, if you have an RV or a conversion van or just a van with the back seats out, we know a couple of good Camp Walamartas that are cool with overnight guests in the parking lot.

Can anybody tell me what positions the baskets are going to be on for this tourny. A or B?  I'm looking through the picture gallery for the course and noticed they have 2 basket positions.. any info will be very helpful thanks.

I'll be checking the pre-reg list this weekend and doing the micro-division trophies.  I'm not any good at getting trophies done after the tournament, so I'm not doing that this year.  I might carry some generic trophy discs that say something like, "Juniors - First Place," but neglect to say at what tournament.  For adult divisions, one of you guys should just pre-register if you play in a micro-division and no one has pre-registered yet.

So what's the IOS stance (pardon the expression) on the towel under the knee question?

The artificial devices rule allows you to use a towel to control abrasion to the skin.  The Building a Lie FAQ recognizes that the Artificial Devices rule applies to any lie-building situation.  There is nothing in the rules or the FAQs that would prevent using a towel under your knee if it is to control abrasion.  It is no different from having a shoe on your foot.

We're pretty close to hammering this out. We've been talking about it for several weeks. Be patient....there should be a couple of new Q&A's up in the next couple of days.

The gist of the Q&A's will be that you cannot move obstacles on the course (sticks, rocks, etc..) and place them on your lie to build a stance, but you can place a towel or small pad behind your lie to prevent abrasions, etc (but not under your foot, since it's already covered by a shoe, except on the tee). We should have the exact wording out soon.
