Quit work, play disc golf :)

I have about 25 or so lifetime aces. I dont really keep stats, I just try to enjoy the moment.
I have a few at Adler, a couple at Round Lake. Others are few and far between. 3 are tourny aces 1 at Parkside, 1 at Janesville, and 1 at Olympia Fields. And a few at doubles for $.

I missed one yesterday at Shorewood in Illinois. It was #12. I threw a flick and it hit the chains and a little basket and landed about 15 feet away.

I love that hole, although I've never aced it. I did win my 1st cash $ playing disc golf on that hole though!

Is #6 at Volrath the blind one that goes down the hill towards the lake? I always wanted to hit it, but still haven't.

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

Finally got my first ace today!

It was at Lombard Commons hole #6..they've changed the course just recently making it 10 holes instead of 9, but it's a shortie.  Threw a Magnet D series

Took my family (Dad + Mom over 50, Brother, Sister, future brother-in-law) disc golfing today at Lombard commons.  It had been quite a while since I'd taken them but it was such a nice day and we were all off.  Aced new hole 3 with a nicely beat in kc pro roc.  They were suitably impressed.  (Don't tell them it was luck).  O0

that's a nice shot!  That hole is in the 250-275' range isn't it?  I can't remember for sure because I've only been out there once to play the layout with the new 2 and new 3.

The tee sign says 237 but I would guess it is right at or under 300 ft.  Gotta get lucky if you play long enough...

ChiBlender36

That's a good toss right there paul.  Congrats.  The hole has some nice tree cover around it too. Must have squeked right on in there

I was with some friend's and a friend's dad (he got me started into disc golf) on Friday playing at Shorewood. I aced #9 last year and when we got to that whole I told my friend he was due for an ace. Two holes later on what I consider one of the hardest aceable holes at Shorewood #11 my friend steps up and throws and my friends dad goes "Listen" and then bang. We hear chains. My friend goes to check it out and he had aced the whole. We were all so excited but my friend was the happiest. He finally got his ace and his dad was there to see it.

Dan Michler

wholy cow i cant believe he aced that dirty hore of a whole.

Is it considered laughing quietly to yourself if you are sharing it with others?
