I really don't like this course for some reason. In the summer you always have to deal with day campers. It's a pain in the a@# with all those kids standing around #2 & #3. A lot of the baskets are pretty beaten up & the turf is very worn down due to so much foot traffic. I just don't like the layout. There are a few holes I like.  I like #1 throwing out of the parking lot down a narrow fairway to a well protected hole & #9 is very sweet. I love throwing down hill to a wide open hole. I usually find myself picking other area courses over Adler so it is obvious to me that I don't like it.

Yeah, I have to agree that it is a little worn down, and having to deal with all the little brats - I mean day campers - running around... But this course plays well at night.

Not to mention the occasional random hot air balloon launch from the vollyball pits behind the pin on 1...

I gotta give this course at least a 2 star

why did you reply with only '...' in your post?

Yeah, I hate the fact that they painted them last summer. I think they're ugly & harder to find now.

Adler used to be so sweet when it was 18 holes. Now, its OK, but Brett's right. Way too overused.  But league payouts can be strong in July. They get 30 people regularly. Or used to. It can be a good thing to try other leagues to see what and how other folks are throwing.

I was really disappointed with the alternate tees that Adler has. I played with a guy who took me around. Almost every alternate is shorter. The only 1 I really liked was #9. You throw from the top of the hill over by the flag pole.

#3- (facing the basket down the alley of trees) off to the right hand side of the fairway. It is back in the woods quite a ways.

#4- off the fairway to the right hand side. It is about 130 feet from the pin.

#6- way off to the left hand side of the fairway. close to the road.

#7- ? can't remember

Played here Sunday after the clean-up. I like the actual hole layout. The baskets are nasty and the course layout isn't bad it can just be a pain finding a few of the holes.

7 is just about midway from the tee to the pin, only off the the left (if your facing the pin from the tee) about 20feet off the road.

man, this is an old thread... dating back to the original bulletin board software!

Anyhow, I'm sure some folks' opinions have softened a bit...

Here's the new virtual tour page for Adler, enjoy!

There is a tree right at the end of #2's fairway before it opens up. It's a pretty brutal obstacle right now.

Reunited with Todd and my home course today.

First hole was the dreaded one which caused my suffering.. Took a 5

Hole 2's tree is freakin impossible. If you can get past it off the tee, you're one lucky s.o.b

I left my discs at Eastern, I was throwing unfirmiliar plastic, and didn't have a towel. So it wasn't exactly ideal conditions, all the stuff I thought was understable I am now throwing as stable. I feel like I have more command, even though I didn't shoot well

Side-arm rolled 6 and deuced it, makes me happy because I was working on that before I got injured.

+3, +2 were the final scores on 9

So happy to be tossing again
