Putting Challenge

We're about a month out from IOS 6, so if you want to get into the putting contest at IOS 6 you need to start your putting and posting here by Wednesday. We have quite a few participants, but the more, the merrier. Each day's winner will receive enough brass to buy two brand new putters. However, you don't have to spend the brass on putters if you don't need or want them.

I've had a non-specific offer for other prizes. Please let me know if anyone wants to sponsor the contest or provide prizes. It wouldn't cost very much to make this the "Paper or Plastic Sports Putting Challenge" or the "Life Time Disc Sports Putting Challenge" or whatever!

Can someone bring a decent basket for the putting contest at Fairfield? I'll bring my skill shot for an emergency back up but I'd rather use a real basket. We'll need one for both days. The basket will need to be there by 8am.

• I'll have score cards for the putting contest on one of the other score ports with your name on it.
  
  
  
  • The basket will be setup near TC and there will be 18 flags around it.
    
    
    
    • Take one putt from each flag.
      
      
      
      • Flags will be numbered 1 thru 18.
        
        
        
        • In the spot where distance or par would be on a normal score card, there will be a point value of 1 to 3 points.
          
          
          
          • If you make the putt, write the point value on the score card. If you miss, write a slash.
            
            
            
            • Add your points at the end. Person with the highest points each day wins.
              
              
              
              • Complete your putting competition round any time before the start of the second round of the disc golf tournament.
                
                
                
                • Ties for first will have sudden death playoff before awards.
                  
                  
                  
                  • All decisions by the putting marshal (that's me) will be final.
