OK To make a REALLY long story short,  Hyzerhurths.com  was asked by Lifest (A 4-day Christian music festival in Osh Kosh) to set up and run a disc golf course on their grounds for last weekend's festival.   After 3 days of utter chaos which included 2 full days of rain, a LOT of mud, and driving into a fence which is property of the City of OSh Kosh(I found this out after talking to the nice police officer)  So after all of that I was at the course taking practice throws and then I went to collect the discs.  Well I was throwing them back in the direction of the table we had set up and I picked up my elite X XS disc with the wedding stamp on it and threw it from about 150' away it did it's normal flight pattern where it turns over and floats to the right but then the wind changed.   I yelled "Look Out" but not in time.  My wife turned around and the disc nailed her in the mouth.  Well, after a nice trip to the ER, she now has 4 stitches in her upper lip, a swollen, purple mouth, and she tore that little piece of skin/tissue that connects the bottom lip to the bottom jaw.  It was a really bad weekend!

Ooooooooooh!  Ouch is right!  Will your new wife be OK?  If so, will you live to regret it?

Don't feel bad. I beaned my 5-yr-old in the neck last week when I whipped an Aviar as hard as I could (aiming at my older son). No damage to the kid. He's still hooked on disc golf.

So, did you plant the seeds of disc golf well up there? How did the actual demo go?

Yeah she'll be alright.  Just a lot of discomfort for a few days.  I'm sure I'll live to regret it.  I've hurt people befor playing basketball and football but this almost made me sick.

We held a mini-tournament and had 2 divisions upper and lower and had 12 people show up.  Everything was free and I donated some prize discs so that was pretty cool.  All the mud and rain put a damper on the whole weekend but at least everyone who played, had fun.  The weird thing was the targets they had from last year's course.  they were made out of PVC and they were around 6' tall.  It was a pvc pipe running up with a PVC square on top of it and you had to throw it through the square.  Pretty challenging too b/c if you were on the side of it you couldn't just putt at it, you had to either hyzer or anhyzer a putt in.
