Are you a pro and want to play? Any pro rated <970 can play advanced. Yes, even if you have accepted cash. Just remember you are playing for prizes and not cash.

I have been getting blown up with e-mails and calls about this event. It's a still a month away! In the past week i've had 11 e-mails and 3 calls. Yesterday a player from Fort Worth TX called and said he'll be in town and plans on playing. I've had a lot of Adler Tuesday night league players tell me they'll get money to me soon. This morning I had 2 more e-mails asking for information.

Sounds good! Adler has a lot of potential. It should be fun.

Todd took us over to this course on Friday and I was pleasantly surprised.  There were some pretty nice holes out there, I'd like to see the 18 hole layout.
Vibram Disc Golf, Ledgestone Insurance, Paragon and Whirld Sports are all cool. Real cool.

Somewhat unrelated but I'm heading up to check out Adler tomorrow before this tournament and was wondering if folks had recommendations for other 9 holers to check out in that area.  It looks like there's quite a few and I've played none.   Thanks.

Warren has a pretty good 9 hole course.  Once you play the first 3 holes you have to cross the parking lot to the west to find hole 4.  Then after you play hole 7 go across the service road and up the steps to play hole 8.  There is some walking between some of the holes, but overall it is a nice course.

Attached is a tentative map for this event. I am pretty sure on all the holes but 9D. That will be a par 4ish type wooded hole playing up the path. A 2nd shot will be to the basket. I have yet to decide where to place the basket.
Holes 1A, 2, 9D, & 9 E are par 4's. Par for the event will be 67.

I got a chance to play holes 1A thru 1E yesterday. Roman tagged along and can give some info too.

1A-> I'd guess it's 500 to 550 feet but plays longer since it's slightly uphill. This is a good par 4 with risk/reward. You can play your tee shot safe under the tree or thru the gap avoiding the road. This will make your 2nd shot much tougher. A lefty has an advantage off this tee. As a righty if you throw a big anhyzer for distance the road and tree line come into play. If you get a booming drive off you are going to be in good position (100 to 150ft) for an upshot.

I played this hole both ways. Big anhyzer destroyer then a buzz approach. Hyzer under the trees with a destroyer then an orc approach. On a calm day I would possibly be using a Roc or Wizard on that approach. It was a much eaiser approach going big anny but that road comes into play in a hurry!

1B-> I'd guess this hole is 280 to 300ft. It plays slightly downhill with a solid fairway. If you don't throw it staright you'll find some trouble. I may put the pin on the right side of the fairway on top of the wood chips. I have not made the decision yet but i'm leaning towards it. A right handed player will have to throw something that will hold its line and not hyzer out to get a solid birdie attempt. The elevated green should make this hole very difficult.

I played this hole using a Valkyrie. On a calm day I may consider throwing a Roc.

1C-> I'd guess this hole is 250 to 270ft. There is a nice anhyzer route thru the woods to a nice open green.

I threw a Roc and Buzz on this hole. If you have a good forehand this hole is perfect for it.

1D-> I'd guess this hole is 230 to 250ft. This is a slightly uphill shot thru a pretty tight fairway. The basket is going to be  just off the fairway to the left side. The green is going to be well protected and a tricky one to get a putt. A nice straight shot that gently fades left is perfect. If you come up short or gack a drive there is some HEAVY rough!

I threw a Roc and Buzz. On a calm day i'd consider using a Wizard. Tricky!

1E-> I'd guess this hole is 200 to 220ft. Dead straight ace run down the alley of pines. The road is directly on the other side of the trees to the left. If you miss left you have a good chance at going onto or over the road OB. Pretty heavy rough to the right and left. This is one of those putter holes you are thinking I have to birdie this hole then absolutely blow up when you take a 4 on it due to a bad shot and not able to scramble for par.

I threw a beat putter.

These 5 holes alone add some great variety to this course.

Dan and I scoped out some holes a month or so ago for the others. I'll have more description when I get back and play them again.

9A--330ish..Big anhyzer driver shot down to the monument.
9B--240ish..Tight stright mid range shot.
9C--250ish Slight tricky hyzer.
9D--450ish Par 4. Drive up the trail to the opening. Upshot to the left into the woods. Hard 3 to get! Gotta have good drive & upshot.
9E--Par 4. Semi open fairway with scattered trees. Long drive with solid upshot to take 3.
9F--280ish downhill. Tee on top sled hill. Basket on the bottom of the hill about 30ft in front of the fence.
9G--300ish uphill. Pavillion & sidwalk OB. Heavy rough/woods on the right.
