Hole A will be similar to past years, but no drop zone.  Reteeing will be your only option.  Unless I forget the rope.

I just updated the registrations that came in this morning. Weather looks great.

There should be players there.
2008-> 166 players
2007-> 158 players
2006-> 162 players
2005-> 140 players

Chris Jordan & Jamie Blough have spent the last 2 days doing some work on the course. They picked up a lot of garbage and have painted a few 10 meter circles. Thanks guys!

Michael Linden, you are rated too high to play MA4 so you need to play MA3 or higher. Thanks!

When you are not a current member, typically only TDs have access to your rating. If you go back and look at the results for Crystal Lake, click on show ratings. You can get an idea of roughly where you are rated. MA3 is on Sunday. You can still play on Saturday, but in MA2. One other option is to become a PDGA member on Saturday. If you do this, not only will your PDGA membership carry over until next year, but I think you will be allowed to play MA4 as you will be a member without an official rating.

Mike is correct. However, feel free to join the PDGA online and save us some paper work!  ;) So, the only way to play MA4 this weekend is to join the PDGA. If Saturday is the only day that you can play you can play MA2. If you signed up for full fee you may drop down to trophy only if you want to.

So that's the official player unofficial bagger policy.   ;D

Wow thanks for the help and fast responses that's awsome u guys r really helpful. Well this is my first year competing and I was hoping to finish the year as novice and continue to advance next year. but I don't want to be viewed as a bagger so id like ur honest oppinion what u think I should play in.  Also my friends r competing in novice and they r my ride. So I think my only real options are register pdga and play novice or play ma2. If I registered pdga would I be able to get that $10.50 back for non-pdga tourny? Or would u even mind applying that to my player pack? Again thanks for ur help.

You can get the $10 back if you join. If you want to join it is completely legitimate to play MA4. If you don't want to join then I'd suggest playing MA2 trophy only.
