I'm guessing Channy is flooded?

I'm hoping to head that way tomorrow.
Vibram Disc Golf, Ledgestone Insurance, Paragon and Whirld Sports are all cool. Real cool.

I will be in Joliet tomorrow. If I have time I hope to get out and throw. Whats the best bet for avoiding wet and unplayable conditions?

Avoid Highland Park if you want to avoid water. That course doesn't really get flooded, but the tees are all dirt (or limestone) and hidden from the sun in the woods, so they take a long time to dry out. It sucks when you can't get good footing on a muddy course, but it really sucks when you can't even get good footing on the tees.

I don't know...in my opinion it just sounds like Roman had a bad round or two when he last got out to Highland Park.   He is right though in that the tees are just dirt and do get muddy.  Concrete tees would be a wonderful future improvement to the course.  IMHO though, Highland Park is still worth a round if you are down there if you can compensate for muddy tees just for the quality of the course.  Channy is a good bet for wet days if you want nice tees as long as it is not flooded.  It was wet when I last got down there but not flooded.

I made a call to a buddy up there, he said Channy is flooded and to steer clear.  He said West wasn't too bad.

I'll probably go to West.

Channahon was flooded in spots, but most of the course was playable yesterday. Holes 4, 6, 11, and 15 had a significant amount of water around the basket. The rest of the course was fine, albeit muddy. I hope it will dry out in 2 weeks.

sounds like the usual 4 spots where water likes to hang out at that course.
