Kelsey is now 928!   

I've played advanced rated golf for 9 of my last 10 tournament rounds.

Kiralyn played a solid tournament on Saturday, January 28th, and has probably shot her way out of MA3.  I think she had an unofficial 915 and 945.  We'll see with the next ratings update.  The 945 was on a course that sometimes is too easy to produce ratings, like White Shorts at Lemon Lake, but the weather conditions may have made the course ratings worthy. 

I think I'll go from being the highest rated MA2 in the world to the lowest rated MA1.  It was nice to throw two advanced rated rounds.  I usually play better than my rating in fierce wind.

but expect that practice will generate the desired results

I thought for sure he would be in the Masters division at Bowling Green, and not intermediate?? was hoping anyway!

The PDGA moved me up to Advanced with a 935 rating now, and HBClark bumped me up to MA1 at Bowling Green.  There are actually more MA2s in MA1 than there are in MA2, so its all good. 

Kelsey went down to 922. 

Kiralyn moved up to 912, a personal best for Kira.  Several times this weekend I heard Kelsey telling people that her younger sister played and that Kelsey was only 1 throw better than her.  I thought Kelsey was just being "up with people."  I'd seen a Zig Ziglar book kicking around over Spring Break.  But, now the PDGA agrees. 

I had a lot of fun in my last, for now, hurrah in MA2.  Kelsey and I finished third at Worlds yesterday.  Worlds yesterday?  Yes, Am World Doubles, the only PDGA major that offers MA2, I believe.  If you can travel down to Texas for disc golf, Am World Dubs is worth the trip.
