I'm updating the lists tonight.  Lots of discs have disappeared.     Some of them I accidentally sold twice!     Check the little "last edited" note on the lists and don't e-mail me until they are all updated for today or tomorrow's date. 

And then they won't be entirely up-to-date because I have more orders in the queue, but I'll update again tomorrow. 

The end of summer sale blew through multiple milestones today and I'm one-third of the way to zero from where I started.

A couple of years ago a guy in Texas who was strapped for cash saw that I was offering to buy discs at 1/2 retail from anyone.  He offered me $300 worth of mixed Texas stamped Innova and Millenium stuff.  Some of you may remember some World doubles and Texas States stamped stuff in my inventory.  I sold the last of the Texas plastic tonight.

I really appreciate the positive feedback.  I'm processing a big order today so until this evening there are 50 discs or so that I'm showing that are gone. 

Random Sale Thoughts.  When I started this sale I seriously thought it would take until next June to get back to zero.  I was at negative $3768, or something like that, and $400 a month was about how the sale went last year until mid-winter SAD kicked in and all I could do was drink vodka and spin the chamber on my empty revolver.  Anyway, I did a big sale this morning up at Holly and i'm processing another big sale by mail.  If that goes through, the sale should be more than half over by Monday.  The last week has been amazing. 

When I hit zero, this sale will be done and then I'll start my Holiday Sale.  The prices will go up a bit.  I'd like to pay Kira for all the work she does with inventory [I cannot do inventory on my own because I'm colorblind] and communications [I'm half deaf and have problems communicating with the postal clerks]. 

Meanwhile, I've been surprised at how the CFR Glow Wraiths have not been moving.  And the FLX Drones. 

It is funny how certain discs have a hot season and then go stone cold.  I remember when I could buy 25 Coyotes and sell them all at a single tournament.  Right now I have a huge selection of Coyotes, because I guess they went cold right before my last Coyote order.  I've sold close to 300 discs.  I have not sold one Coyote.  I showed the Superman Coyote to my customer today and he thought it was awesome.  Then he realized it was a Coyote.  I still have it.  Maybe my next sale will be, Buy Anything Get A Coyote!  But it was funny that the Coyote was ever hot since the Comet has been on the market for years and it has never been all that hot.  If I threw either I could throw them interchangeably.  I've never been into domey, big diameter, understable mids.  And I've sold six or seven Comets. 

The thinking that went into promoting this as Buy Innova Get Discraft Free is also funny.  First funny, there is a subliminal message in the name of the sale.  It is so subliminal no one has even commented.  Maybe I shouldn't give it away.  Barish and Krupicka will want to figure it out for themselves.  First correct guess with the correct guess in the title of the e-mail gets a free Coyote!  One guess per player.  Cheating by making multiple guesses through different e-mail addresses is encouraged. 

Second funny, Diana was asking, "What about the players who only throw Innova?"  And I was like, "If they have a rational reason for only throwing Innova, they're getting their discs for free.  They're sponsored pros.  If they have irrational reasons for only throwing Innova, I don't need lots of irrational customers."  Those are the customers who are going to be upset because it was listed as pink but it is really more of dusty rose which was an entirely different run and is not the same disc at all.  Those are the guys who need to know if the Star T-Bird is an "STB" or a "*TB".  I asked one of the Innova East Guys about that one and he just laughed.  He then said he had not heard that one yet.  He said in a very deliberate South Carolina accent, "Well, on a slow day sometimes I'm the guy with that sharpie, and I've done both.  I never meant anything by it." 

I hope someone is enjoying reading this.  I'm amusing myself!

Anyway, I'd like to run the presumed Holiday Sale up to positive $800 and then sponsor the park use fees for a one-day tourney at Mokena and another at Kensington.  The reason why those courses have not had sanctioned above-the-radar tournaments for several years is because of the park use fees.  And what's below-the-radar will stay below-the-radar as far as I'm concerned!     But it would be nice to run something for the first 135 of everyone at both parks.  I'm also planning on donating some CTP stuff to a couple of tournaments being run by TDs who have really helped me along here.  Probably 90% of the sales have been to 10% of the customers, and I want to remember them.

I've turned down several asks for a blue 178 ESP Meteor because it was sold.  My bad.  That sale fell through several days ago and I never repatriated the disc to its box.  First next ask gets it.

I've been inconsistant on getting the small orders updated on the list quickly.  Check your board messages.

Kira and i did a lot of updating the lists for small pending orders tonight.  The lists should be really accurate in about 20 minutes.  Watch for the update times on the posts that have lists.
