2010 Area League Play

Looks like I'm moving back to the suburbs, at least for a little while. I can finally get out on the course again! Are there any leagues still going besides the one at Fink? I'll be up north near Libertyville. I would guess most dont start until april or so.

I figured I'd post  my question about 2011 leagues on this thread as it appears one hasn't been started yet for 2011.

With day light savings giving us an extra hour of light starting this Sunday are there any spring leagues starting up because of this? The following is what I recalled for leagues in the past.  If anyone has any information regarding a league please post here.

MONDAY
I used to help run BG league on Monday but haven't been around and don't know who does  or if anyone does anymore. I'd be willing to step up and run it again starting 3/14. I just don't want to step on anyone's league if they are planning on running it and being in charge.

Crystal Lake - they used to  have leagues.  Anyone got a clue?

Highland Park - ?

TUESDAY
Libertyville Adler - I hear Jim has retired from league duties.

Streamwood Shady Oaks -

WEDNESDAY
Grayslake - not sure if this one even exists anymore

THURSDAY
Round Lake Fairfield -

FRIDAY
Parkside - I've never played  this league but I believe it runs on this night.

SATURDAY
Round Lake Fairfield - I believe this one is year round? 10am and unofficial league at 2pm.

SUNDAY
Discontinuum Rotating League - year round

Libertyville Adler - I hear Jim has retired from league duties.

Ronn Blough and Dave Nelson are running Adler League. It should be starting up in the next couple of weeks. Not sure if next Tuesday is the 1st week or not. I asked Dave a few weeks ago and he did not know.

I cannot run grayslake on Wednesday again this year due to work, But it would be cool if someone did for the first weeks of spring atleast since its always the course in the best shape in the area.

Crystal Lake on Mondays will start up first week after the time change  like usual.

Thusdays at Round Lake will officialy start the 2nd week of april starting at 5:15.

Silver lake has been getting a great turnout on Sundays. Steve Mullins is running this league and we've had 15/13/17 people the last three weeks and hes also been running a 2pm league at Round Lake followed by a $10 round of skins.

Crystal Lake/Lippold leagues starts today at 4:30. we will be pushing the time back as the sunset moves further back. eventually it will get pushed all the way to 6. any questions talk to Fred

We started Thursdays at Round Lake yesterday. We will be starting at 5:30 till the first week of May. There was an ace the first week by Frank on hole 13.

Steve Mullins has moved the Sunday 2pm league at Round Lake to Silver Lake. So there is a 10am and a 2pm league every Sunday up there.

Starts at 6:00 still, I think.
