Well the hottest topic right now is where LeBron is gonna be next year so let talk about different scenario.

So number 1 bulls cleared a lot of cap room from this past season trade deadline and have enough for a max contract and also to sign another excellent player.

Well Wade and James if we can land one of those guys that is big. And other player in my eye I like is Jermaine O'Neal.
Say if we get James instead of Wade, Ray Allen is an unrestricted free agent so the Bulls can make a run for him for a great shooter with him or even Joe Johnson from the Hawks.  Johnson will mostly want a big contract.  Is Chris Bosh decides to opt out early then I would gladly take him over Jermaine O;Neil all day

My idea for a nest year roster are these.

PG-Derrick Rose
SG-Ray Allen
SF-LeBron James
PF-Joakim Noah
C-Jermaine O'Neal

2nd Starting Lineup

PG-Derrick Rose
SG-Dwayne Wade
SF-Luol Deng
PF-Joakim Noah
C-Jermaine O'Neal

3rd Starting lineup

PG-Derrick Rose
SG-Joe Johnson
SF-Luol Deng
PF-Joakim Noah
C-Jermaine O'Neal

Also we need to get our bench a little deeper with some more veterans

I nomiinate Stan to take the GM reigns from Gar Paxson!

How about this starting lineup Stan.

1-Rose-a true point guard to facilitate the scoring of the 2 best wing men in the league.  Derrick will take over scoring duties in the event that D Wade gets hurt or has an off night.
2-D Wade...he opts out and decides to take a pay cut to win titles in his home town and commits to playng Pippen to LeBron's Jordan.
3-LeBron..the alpha dog.
4-Kenyon Martin...unrestricted FA, the enforcer, doesn't need the ball in his hands, plays defense and is a scary guy
5-Noah..the perfect teammate who wants to do the dirty work and never needs the ball in his hands.  He energizes the team when necessary, scraps for loose balls, prizes defense and rebounding over all else, and will get the whole team high after a tough loss (if we have any).

6th man-Deng...instant offense, can create his own show, can guard 3 different positions when needed.
7th man--Hinrich...gives us a white player that semi-racist upper middle class white fans can get behind, unselfish player willing to come off the bench for a contender, all-time leader in 3PT FG's for the Bulls, former 2nd team All-Defense (quite an accomplishment as a white American!)

I'm sure we can win no less than 2 titles with that squad.  6 titltes if Wade can stay healthy long-term.

You can attempt to but salary cap and luxury tax will be a major issue your lineup is great but yes K-Mart well be a great defensive player but for some reason i think that he might go somewhere else.  David Lee is also a Unrestricted free agent but he will demand a lot of money  same with Boozer but I see him signing with the Jazz again.  Another player will be Bredan Haywood I believe he can put up a double double every night.  Like I said if we can get Wade or James we become a lock for the playoffs but we need more of a supporting cast.  Plus playing with Rose which is i think the 5th best PG right now.

man, I want what you 2 are smoking. No way all this happens. I heard Deng going to Cleveland in the James deal if it happens, so scratch him from those FANTASY rosters.
If and I mean IF they get LeBron, they will not sign, Wade, Bosh or Johnson. They need to just try to get James 1st. If that happens, then maybe get Noah a backup. Boozer, or Haywood would be perfect.

I think it would be possible to get both LeBron and Ray Allen. It would seem very unlikely to get them both. However, if the Bulls can get LeBron, Ray Allen would be easier. I can't see the celtics wanting to sign him to another lengthy contract because he is getting old. Especially with some of the up and coming players that the Celtics have. I can't say I'm a fan of some of LeBron's attitude, but he's gotten Cleveland to the playoffs year after year.

I wouldn't worry about rules like the luxury tax and all that. If LeBron does come to Chicago, the changing of rules and stretching of limits also comes with him.

Click the like button. If the get 25,000 fans they are going to buy a billboard for LeBron.

All the Bulls need to do is sign James. Sign and trade for Bosh (Henrich and Deng would be gone). That leaves they about 4-6mil under the cap. That leaves enough for a decent 2 guard looking to win a championship. Sign a lot of they guys from last year under the soft cap. Those would be Miller, Richards, Pargo. Whatever it takes to fill up the roster. I do not think they can do much more than that. They do not have the players to trade after they get rid of Deng and Henrich. They only other money available would be to resign Miller for a max value contract and trade him. No one would do that. With some luck they could get a really good player for a mid level exception. Ray Allen, Mike Miller, Josh Howard would all work at 2 guard. Dirk is opting out of his contract as well. It would only makes sense if he is trying win a title. He will be 33 and is owed 21.5mil by Dallas next year. I do not think he will get that kind of money anywhere else. He would be a great pickup is we do not get Bosh.
