Would so much like to be there.  I have Saturday wide open on my schedule, but Friday at 10:00 p.m. I will be eight hours away from Joliet, somewhere deep in a National Forest, several miles from a paved road.

Is the Highland Park course cart friendly?  I would regard Bevier as cart friendly in spite of the billy goat creek crossing.

Highland Park has no disc eating water, any water that is there is extremely casual and I believe the creek by Hole 12/13 is the only place water is OB.

I would agree with Tom, the course is not very course friendly.  There are at least 4 or 5 steep slopes and ravines that come into play and must be navigated along with many others that could come into play.

I will do Bag Tags at this event on Saturday. Maybe the Open players will be willing. As I am  always being told don't have it (Nelson) or that they don't do tags for tournys. Give the far away club members a chance to get them lower numbers, as we can't get to your leagues after getting off from work at 3:30pm. We paid the dues, at least let us have the chance to get a low # to have some bragging rights

if memory serves (and don't count on that...), there are exactly 4 holes w/ steep slopes but I think all of them have steps cut into the hills, if that helps. They're all more severe than #18 at Bevier though - although, in thinking about that, I don't know why you'd bother taking a cart across the creek at Bevier anyhow... 

I used a cart @ Sinnissippi last week for the first time in a couple of years; it didn't help my game but the bottom cooler kept me hydrated at least. I can't play HIghland Park this weekend, but if I were to, I'd probably cart it again for the same reason.

I'll do a 1 on 1 tag challenge or with a small group any time I'm asked at a tournament.  I haven't been putting my tag in for the 'entire tournament' tag challenges though.  1. because i've been using my tag as my mini during the tournament  and   2. because I have to wait around for the tags to all be sorted after the scores are posted.

Believe me Doug, if you want my Tag #90, you are welcome to it!!

no explanation needed Dan. Your not the one I was speaking of, as I have only asked you 1 time. But to hear the same ol same ol every time gets old. You wont  have to wait any longer than the awards take, that's for sure. I will have tags done long before awards start!
