This event is already in its 5th year and I think 3 of 4 years we've had perfect (near record breaking warm) weather.  In 2009 we only had about 10 people signed up on Monday night and before you knew it, it was Wednesday and we had a full field of 90.  Yes, we sold about 72 spots in just under 48 hours.  DO NOT HESITATE to sign up.  You know you're coming so just git-r-done.

2 Rounds at Fox River Park in Silver Lake, WI.  Pins are still being finalized.  There will be some tough judgement calls to make because if we have the full 90 people we will be fighting daylight so look for a variety of pins to be played during the day.  I know everyone wants long pins all day but that might not be possible.

Players will get funny money right off the bat to choose their own player packs.

Scores will be posted online shortly after the event takes place (usually within a few hours).

A schedule will be adhered to as best and efficiently as possible.

This is one of the nicer courses in the area.

Online registration is available at www.iRegisteredOnline.com

Mail in entries are more than welcome as well with a flyer at www.lifetimediscsports.com/events/

We are already 20% full and you can view current registration at:  http://www.pdga.com/tournament-results?TournID=11056

ALL ENTRY FEES INCREASE BY $10 ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 24TH SO PLEASE PRE-REG NOW

I can say this much - I think everyone should plan on playing AT LEAST one round with all of the pins in the longs.  I can say that much with about 95% certainty right now.

Thanks!

In other news:  We will play at least 1 round with the LONG PINS.  Possibly both rounds if daylight permits!

Just got 2 more registrations a few minutes ago including one from Roman Korol!  Thanks Roman!  I'll update the list again after the mail comes today.

I already missed one tournament at Grey Fox, not going to miss a second one. :)

Just got 2 more registrations from guys 'south of the border' - thanks David Barrish and Brian Beall.

Is this going to be a repeat of last year?  People caught wind of reg filling and next thing you know, over 70 spots sold out in under 48 hours.

Al H you out there?  Last year you called me and were VERY mad (at me) that you couldn't get in - there are still spots right now so we can avoid that not-so-fun rejection that happened last year.

Just got a text from a guy coming over for 2 more registrations later tonight.  "Unofficially" pushing 50 now?

Just added myself to the list of Advanced Masters.  Looking forward to playing!

Thanks for signing up Jeff.

I just updated the pre-reg list to show 54 now!   Those Rec and Intermediate fields are growing!

Spoke with the park guy and he just let me know that although they have to shut down the bathrooms because of freezing pipes, we'll have a port-a-potty out there.  Just one though so I'd try to plan things accordingly.

They keep on pouring in!

Here is what I know - I spoke to the parks a few days ago and he said he would gladly move them to ALL LONGS for me.  I said that's what we'll start with on Saturday.  IF we run long or late first round we always have the option to shorten some (likely half) of the holes and adjust from there.  I know usually you play longs second round but this way I wanted to guarantee that everyone got the chance to play at least one round to the long pins.  I'm really guessing that we'll play both rounds to the longs but we'll see.

KA BLAM -

Up to 66 which means we've more than doubled the field in the past 2 days.

I'm calling it right now - this event is going to SELL OUT.  Besides the huge amount of people in the last few days look at its track record:

SOLD OUT at UW Parkside in year 1
Good turn out at UW Parkside in year 2
SOLD OUT at Brown Deer in year 3
SOLD OUT at Dretzka in year 4
Year 5?  - I'm think you can safely guess - SELL OUT.

Here is the current list of registrations:  http://www.pdga.com/tournament-results?TournID=11056

ALL ENTRY FEES GO UP $10 ON WED NIGHT!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.  Are you ready for some COLD TURKEY?

Just over a dozen spots left for the event!

Late fees were implemented early this morning and that certainly saved a few people a few bucks by not doing it late last night.

We have secured a local bar and grill just seconds away from the course to host our awards!  If you've pre-registered online expect a caddy guide to be e-mailed to you by tomorrow night.

Looking forward to having all of you at Fox River Park in Silver Lake!

Case J

Just signed myself up.  Will see everyone on Saturday.

POW

Looks like 10 or so spots left.  Will you be at home eating Cold Turkey or will be at a great course playing in the Cold Turkey?  Only a few more hours to decide.

* Please don't call or text or Facebook me or chat or IM or (insert any other means of communication) and ask if I can just hold your spot because you promise to show up and pay me that day.  IRO is currently your only option to SECURE your spot.  Oh, another entry just came in about 10 seconds ago.  Down to 8.
