You might change that to you are crazy. No one else showed up.  I shoveled for about an hour and a half and got 4 tees.  The snow is over 3 feet in some spots and a minimum of 30 inches around most of the tees.

League is canceled next week.

Tom, you amaze me! I guess I actually may have been crazy enough too if I had been back to 100%. Still thinking of joining the Cracked Plastic...
Have a great week!

Tom congrats on your second league victory of the 2011 league season.

I would have given myself the win if I had actually thrown a disc. I shoveled for about an hour and a half and that was all the exercise that I got.

damonshort

Tom, thanks anyhow, although nobody (including me) showed up to appreciate it.

The real downside is the fact that Fink is pretty flooded after the spring thaw even after a normal winter. I don't see the course being playable til sometime in May once all this snow melts - although it should be OK for awhile if there's still a snow cover.

I toss this out since I remember some talk about a club event or something there sometime in April....?
thanks,

Steven Jacobs

Damon's right.  I remember last year.  Fink is a total wetland with foot deep water after the snow melts.

Tom McManus

No league this week. We will go again next week at Fink.

JakeJacobs

Have fun in Kzoo Tom, and Taylor, oh, and John and anybody else doing Cracked Plastic. Unfortunately I've got to head back east to visit my ailing dad...So I won't be at Fink next week either. Good luck out there and see you on the rebound.

roman

Tom, just a heads up Doug and I went to Fink today and cleared the rest of the tees. Not sure how much of the snow is going to be left by next weekend, but you don't have to worry about shoveling the tees.

Thanks Roman.  We will have league out there next week. Hopefully it won't be too sloppy.

I'm hoping to play in Columbia MO this weekend w/ my son, but maybe I'll see 'everyone' on the 27th.

It is a go this Sunday at Fink.  If anyone heads out that way later in the week hopefully they can post the conditions here.

I'll try to check it out. There was quite a bit of water in spots yesterday, with plenty of snow still to melt.

Thanks for the update John. League this Sunday at 10:00 AM.

Sounds like it dried out a bit. That's good news. I was there yesterday and the entire left side of 9 fairway was a lake. The basket was surrounded by water, as was the basket for 4.
