I just heard that there is going to be an A-Tier in Centralia IL. The date I heard is July 16-17. This is possibly the best course in the state.

Can anybody confirm this tournament?

I just recently heard there's going to be a good one there. A tier sounds like a good one.

I have not heard anything.  I checked the club website and did not see anything. I'll post on there later when I get to school.

I have not played very many A tiers that have been good tournaments for the amateurs.  If I'm playing A-tiers, chances are I'm stalking an obelisk.

And what is this fixation that disc golfers have with state borders?  Centralia is 270 miles from Chicago.  There are a lot of tournaments on good courses closer to Chicago than that.

Bowling Green is further away and attracts more Chicago area golfers than an A-tier in Centralia or St. Louis.  So, I'm not sure what your basis for this statement is.  I think a Centralia A-tier would attract about as many golfers from this area as past St. Louis (Missouri) A-tiers.

only way i might attend that is if dynamic discs is running the show.  a davey mac a tier sounds awful
Vibram Disc Golf, Ledgestone Insurance, Paragon and Whirld Sports are all cool. Real cool.

Heard there's going to be a b tier in August. (Gateway)

No A tier because they are still working on getting concrete.
