"Steady" Ed Headrick Passes On

This morning, August 12th, 2002, Ed Headrick, inventor of the Wham-O Frisbee and the great sport of disc golf, died peacefully from a series of strokes suffered at the Amateur Worlds in Miami two weeks ago.

Wow, what a blow for disc golfers every where.  I'm sad to see him gone, and hope he's in a better place.
