This is turning into quite an event.  Great players packs included a dri fit shirt, two discs, two minis, stickers, and a free lunch ticket. This players pack went to both pros and AMs. There was also a snack in your players pack.  The event was two rounds of 27 holes. There were at least 3 water stations on the course that besides the water had a bin of snacks (peanuts, trail mix, tootsie rolls.....)  The free lunch was good two sandwiches, chips, pickle and a choice of 4 salads.

Josh and his team worked really had to make this a special event to honor Monroy.  There was a huge raffle in which they gave away 1 outstanding Tom Holston basket, two one very nice baskets, and a few more after that. Along with all the shirts and discs that were raffled off it was a pretty amazing event.

The highlight though was Brett shooting the hot round of the day and taking home first place, a nice trophy and a big payout.  Kenny moved up to pro, finished in fifth, and took home some cash in his first pro event which was great, and Barrett took home first place for pro women.

A great day.  When this tourney rolls around next year register early, because it will fill.  Monroy was a great guy, always happy and smiling on the course, you didn't know if he shot 10 down or 10 up, he always had that same happy spirit.  This event is a great way to honor that spirit.

Thanks guys! It's been quite a while since i've played like that. 6 birdies in a row that first round and held the box thru hole 12 the 2nd round. After I hit this miracle putt on hole #1 round #2 I knew it was my day.

Awesome event in memory of Monroy. Dan Michler and I used to run into O'Keefe and Monroy at a ton of events. I'll never forget the shot Monroy made during the skins at the GMO. Thanks to Josh and crew for all the hard work.

Player pack was sweet. It's been quite some time since i've gotten one as a pro. Snacks and water all over the course. Awesome lunch. And as always my favorite lots ot golf--54 holes.

The "Champ" Kenny Glassman really helped me out. He called me up and asked if I wanted to go to Milwaukee Friday and spend the night. I see why he won Worlds. He was absolutely crushing the course and burying every putt Friday night. We got some much needed practice and I dialed in the course.
