Is there going to be a player pack for the am. divisions, and what could it contain?

Ledgestone

There will be a players pack - I will defer to Miles or Nancy on this but I know it will at least include a few items!

Did anyone else notice that the guys who finished first and second in recreational are rated over 900? I hope that was just a mistake.

No mistake....both were signed up before the ratings update and got a ratings bump. They are okay because of the two week rule.

It was a mistake. A mistake on my part to not look at their rating history. Are you allowing players to stay in the division in which they started for the duration of the series? I believe that is the TD's option.

I am not allowing points to be moved between divisions.

But I was not aware there was a rule regarding Series' that allowed the TD to supersede the ratings rules. Is that correct?

The competition manual has some provisions for allowing TDs of series events to let some players stay in a lower division. The series needs to get prior approval from the Tour Manager. There's a host of other requirements that need to be satisfied as well. I don't recommend going this route though. It tends to tick off more players than please the couple of players it might benefit.
