Found a wallet at Bevier

It's probably not a golfer that lost it, more than likely stolen and stripped, then tossed. We found it at Bevier on #3. No ID. Mostly phone numbers and a prom picture.
My wife has had her purse stolen before, and someone was nice enough to bring the remains back when they found it. Just trying to return the favor.
If nobody hears of a golfer losing a wallet, I'll just start calling numbers of his friends and maybe I'll get a lead.

I'd say you made the right call, and it is mighty nice of ya.
I found a wallet after the widdershins, went to the Wkgn Police Dept, and nearly got arrested myself.  I'd recommend against that route......

Well, called a phone number for what we thought might be his dad, turned out to be his brother. We're just gonna mail the remains back to him. He does have a ton of phone numbers stored in his wallet, I hope he'll be happy to get them back.
