Actually I like our web graphic. This thread started because some of us thought we might want a logo that lends itself to print and stamp media well.

Actually, it was started for submissions for a new graphic for the site.
The club's name is Discontinuum & not Disc Continuum

I thought all of this started from this post.  But I may have interpreted it wrong.

First off, I'm really happy to see the enthusiasm for the club's logo happening!  When I started this contest, it was done quickly and without much thought (gee, really?!).

I really like some of the designs that were submitted online here.  I think the BOD should get a real contest going. Although changing logos every year probably isn't a good idea (consistency is important), the current logo has been used for 4 years or so.  Let's keep the blood fresh, so to speak, and use one of the new ones!

If I remember correctly, Jim started this thread in response to my reply to his post where he said the current logo has received many compliments over the years.

My 'apparently so' comment was directly related to the start of this thread.
