You are correct, sir.
At the demos I've done, people are usually skeptical - until they make that first putt. Then it's like they've caught a glimpse of god, and can't stop looking (or putting).

Jon, Will you have any Illinois Open Series flyers?

I won't have any for tomorrow. Did not know that was a priority. I didn't think this was really a tournament attending audience, I thought this was an introductory audience.

It's no big deal. It wasn't on the priority list. I would like to get them to start laminating & posting when this weather breaks. I have no clue what kind of audience it will be. I figured any promotion is good promotion.

What a day!
Paul, Myk, and I showed up at 1pm, and we didn't have a moment's peace until shut-down at 4pm. It looked like Brett and Jon had a very busy morning as well.
It was a Sports, Health & Fitness Expo, with maybe 30 booths. About 26 of them were for ball golf. 2 were chiropractors, 1 was Daily Herald, then our disc golf booth. Our area was 3x bigger than the rest - room enough to set up 2 baskets!
Folks of all ages stepped up and tried some putts. We passed out prizes of golf balls and towels (donated by Lakeland Press) for those that did well. We handed out more than 50 Infopaks and spoke to over 100 people.  I was able to corner representatives from Zion Park District and the Lake County Forest Preserve and discuss course installations.
We had a blast!

I had no idea what to expect yestarday. I ended up having a blast & a ton of people were able to throw a few discs. I'm guessing from 10:30 to 1:00PM 150-200 people stopped by.

Tammy Marchetta, the event organizer, did a fantastic job!! She arranged prizes for the putting game(similar to bozo grand prize game).

Since the prizes were golf towels & golf balls, all the ball golf players wanted to try it just to win prizes. There was a broad range of ages. Some had never heard of disc golf. I had several guys say they hadn't played in years but they would have to go dust off their discs. It was good promotion of the game.

Lakeland Newspaper took some picutures. Hopefully I can find a copy.
