The installation of Twin Lakes Disc Golf Course in Wildwood, IL  

VOLUNTEER SIGNUP LIST

DISContinuum is helping to install Illinois' newest 9-Hole course - and its going to be a beauty!

Please post your schedule preferences or email me at office@discontinuum.org for more info.

All volunteers will need to wear warm clothes that you can get dirty, gloves, and whatever else you need to stay comfortable while working. If you can, please bring shovels, spades, rakes, pruning shears, and small saws.  The Wildwood Park District will be providing an auger, posthole digger, and will move woodchips and sand for us. We have to square off 6" deep teeboxes, connect wood forms, rebar those forms, spread sand and chips, sink baskets, sink teeposts, and clear some brush on Hole 5.

LUNCH will be provided both days!    Come and be a part of disc golf history!

Feel free to pick up some Chef Solutions salads at the deli. We've been selling potato salad, macaroni salad and cole slaw to Safeway for years, but Dominick's just started carrying our stuff this month.

I met with Chuck again tonight. He's got all 9 of the teeposts finished - already! Woo-hoo!  We finalized the teepost art and set a date for a mini-work day on Saturday, April 3rd at 8am at the Twin Lakes Park garage.
We'll be setting the baskets in concrete in 5-gal buckets. It shouldn't take long. C'mon out and get a sneak peak at the teeposts!
