Club site enhancements

Figured I should start a new thread about this.
Okay, I can't move the other threads directly but I can copy/quote them here...

I'm working on updating portions of the site to work off a database of club contacts and events (Leagues & Tourneys). Portions are done and already implemented. Others are in the design & testing phase. Still others are only planned at this point.

Things that are implemented:
Club member list when you click the Members button on the webiste now only shows people who have paid for a 2004 membership. It also shows the person's PDGA number & rating if they exist.

Weekly league results now go off of the league database. Currently only Spring 2001 & Winter 2004 are in the DB but more are coming.

League points standings, aka the leaderboard, go off the same league database.

I could prolly work some magic on that, maybe make another column in the db that holds the URL to the member's bio page if one exists.

No, and the bio pages aren't even that current

Jim then posted a bug report about the new league display:

The "GO" button on the right is functional, but brings up an empty template. Seems unnecessary to be there now.
Functionally, works GREAT. Fast, smooth, good.
Aesthetically, just groovy.

Which Go button, the one for weekly results? Perhaps you're not being patient enough for the 2nd dropdown that selects the week to appear?

Jim then replied:

Gotcha.
but after you select a league and wait for the choices of weeks to appear, the league chosen (eg "Spring Best Shot 2001") returns to the "Please Select a League" button. Can you make it stay of the League chosen?

BTW, very nice to be getting these automated!

Yes I can, and I have.

I also just fixed the bug where clicking back from the league results page and/or selecting a different league on the main page caused the automated dropdown to not work. In some cases it even brought you to an empty template page with an error in the middle or down on the bottom.

That has been fixed.
