Very good point Damon and one wich hasn't come up. I propose that in a case of tie, the "win" goes to the defender of the better tag.

I look at it like this, if you have a higher number your challenging the better number, to get it beat them, ya tie, well better luck next time?

What do others think, so I can be sure to include it in the rules sheet.

I'm going to agree with Shawn and Jon. In a serious setting(tourney) its straight win or lose. In casual its entirely up to the two competitors. If they want to give one another a handicap its between them.

And Jon, I with ya on your comment about beating Shawn.... [whispers, so Shawn can't hear] Maybe we could break his legs :-)

When are the tags coming in?

I kind of look at this as a "who's the top dog" or a "king of the hill" thing. Whoever is best should have the top tag. It's not always going to be an even match. But I tell you, if I beat Shawn on strokes no matter what the course is, that's going to mean something to me.

maybe I missed this, but suppose there's a challenge and then the round is tied? Playoff or do the tags stay the same?

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

I have played the WI bag tag for the last few years.  They play ties do not change tags. .

That's what I figured and would agree with.

QuoteHave had a few pros give me a few strokes when I had the lower # but not when I was trying for their lower #.  It depends on who your shotting against.

Also makes sense. Figure that in a casual round, anything is negotiable ;)

It'll be a few days since I don't have a digicam. They are heavy-duty and well done. Tags 1-5 have a bronze tint and 6-25 have a silver tone.

Jim,

I don't have a quality digital camera myself but I do have access to one.  Internet Marketing, or, "the pretty picture people", have a very nice 4.1 mega pix camera that works extremely well on detailed close up shots (can lift small text off a magazine).  I will be playing Bevier Saturday morning/afternoon for practice for the Ice Bowl.  If you want I would be happy to bring the camera and take some pictures and send them to you for posting.

I was planning on being there around 11:00 until whenever.  Just let me know!
