just curious... what discs are in your bags? which ones do you use in competition? which ones are your favorites? i am just starting out and i bought a champ teebird, a champ spider, omega super soft, and a dx stingray. i hate the stingray and i ended up losing it because it turned over and rolled down a hill and into some brush. i am looking to buy a classic roc, a jaguar, and a wizard stiff or medium wizard. those are my choices, what are yours?

Here was what was in my bag for the tournament today.
4 Aviars
4 Rocs
1 Z Wasp
4 CE Valks
2 CE Firebirds
1 Pro Line Firebird
1 CE Eagle
2 Champion Orcs
1 Champion Beast
1 Champon Viking
1 Z Crush
1 SE Valk (Rollers)

By far my favorite driver is the CE Valk. It cannot handle a head wind.
I've been throwing Orcs more & more.

Jon, you are a Disc Craft fan! no way! Innova kicks Disc Craft's but! and why do all you guys have sooooo many of one type of disc? is it because they age and then throw differently? i would just get champ editions of my favorite discs and a few more dx or pro discs. around 12 discs in my tournament bag. my advanced friend Brandon who is 2nd in our state has around 20 discs in his bag. and i dont think he has more than one of the same disc.

I carry:

2 CE Eagles
1 10x KC Pro Gazelle
1 Champion Aviar
1 DX Avair
1 Barry Shultz Beast
1 Champion Beast
1 Champion Cobra
1 2004 Champion Roc
1 2004 Glow Roc
1 Champion Orc
1 Champion Viking

The reason some of us carry so many of 1 disc is because they are usually of various weights and do different things.  1 roc turns left, 1 roc turns right, 1 roc goes straight.  1 beast is less stable than the other so it turns over a bit more when thrown well.

What happens when he loses his favorite go to driver on the first hole of a 27 hole tournament?

QuoteJon, you are a Disc Craft fan!
I just like to throw discs from a manufacturer who can make the same disc twice. I don't want to be throwing my go to driver only to find out that "they" can't make it anymore so if I want more it's going to cost me $20 per disc. Just my opinion.  ;)

In the bag:

3 Beasts (2 DX, 1 Champion)
1 Champion Monster
3 Rocs
1 Spider
3 Aviar Putters

I'm not sure why, but I just never got used to the Champion plastic. All of my discs, except two, are DX. They're just a little grippier to me.

lets face it, if u aren't throwing well, it isn't because of innova or discraft.  cam todd and ron russell seem to have figured out how to work the discraft plastic and barry schultz doesn't seem to struggle with the innova, so unless u r better than them then i think ur problem lies within.

As for this awesome dude Brandon, I don't think I have the time to get comfortable with 20 different kinds of discs and I'm sure I have no need to get comfortable with 20 different kinds of discs.  maybe u could list the 20 different discs that brandon has in his bag gordo   :D
