Anyone have brass cash? Dan & I are playing round for tags & brass cash every now & then. We have to come up with some other fun games that involves brass cash.

There are 2 more IL events to get brass cash.

I thought that I had gotten rid of all of my brass cash, but got home last night to find that I still had $6 of brass.

We could play Trump some time. Might have to go listen to those rules again.  ;)

I'll explain them in writing much simple than Ellis' oral explanation.

Trump Shot can be played as a singles game or a doubles games.

In singles you get two drives and you have the option of playing the better or worse drive.  The opponents declare which is better or worse.  Whoever wins the hole wins a skin, a funny buck is a good skin.  If there is a tie, the player who took his worst drive beats the player who took their best drive.  If there is still a tie, ties do not carry over.  The next hole is just worth a buck.

In doubles, both partners throw and the other team decides which is worse or better.  The team picks a lie and plays best shot from there.  Best score wins.  If there is a tie the team that took their worst lie beats any team that took their best.

The only trick to the format is to remember that the player who has the disc furthest from the hole has to elect first after the drives.  Once everyone has made their election,  the player who is playing a disc furthest from the hole throws first.  That might not be the player who elected first, and that can get confusing sometimes.  You can gain an advantage by tricking the other player into electing prematurely.

Hanging out with Dan all day did something to your sense of humor.  I almost made a panicked phone call to Jon.  Then I thought, "Ha!  Brett doesn't do anything!"   :D

At the tournament you could have redeemed it for merchandise.  The "Discraft" is $10, Liberty is $5 and the little coin is $1.  The little coin might say IOS on it, but not all of them do.  There will be more tournaments next year.

You might be able to buy club merch with it at league.

You might be able to sell it for cash at some kind of discount.
