Why on earth someone would pay, in effect (with s/h) $17 for a used $10-when-new disc?  This makes no sense to me at all.  Am I missing something?

Well, for starters.... no.

For what its worth, this is the guy I bought my three used Roc's from for the same price as what this one JK Valk is currently at.

I finally got my discs yesterday, after winning the auction and paying less than 5 minutes after the close on April 13th.

By the condition of the discs I received, I'm guessing he trolls the OB & rough at local courses then sells his finds on Ebay... All he ever sells are 'slightly used' discs. One disc I received has a name & number on it, the other just has a first name + PDGA number.

Yeah, though. Its not like the JK Valks are rare, right?

Shawn - I'd be interested in at least one of your 2003 Rocs...

Beans, Beans, the musical fruit . . . . .

I am the proud owner of a Proto CE Valkyrie - true proto!

It is red with big silver star stamp and 170g. Too nice not to use, although the last time I saw one on ebay, it went for $70.

If, for example, you win Jojo's Marley or Einstein disc, and pay $50+ for it, will you use it?  It might be the best art disc ever.  It might be the best-ever flyer for you.  You choose.  Me?  I'd buy two.  :-)

I have lots of pricey stuff that I never paid much for...  thinking about unloading it now after seeing some of the insane prices people pay.  Is it difficult to set up an auction on e-bay?

Here's a list of what I am going to sell..

CE Rocs 2-2001, 2002, 3-2003

2- JLS test run 1.0

4-CE JLS dyed

2-first run Cheetah...says POGA instead of PDGA

CE Valk  1rst run USDGC stamp with cool dye job

CE cheetah Japan Open w/Barry and Juliana sig.

Omega approach putter 1.1

omega prototype putter 1.2

Midnight flyer "6"  glow

4-used CE Valks mostly 2nd run

proto Eagle no patent# looks like an XD

and lots of used stuff..

I have been offered 150 for the Japan Open disc..not a bad return for a 25dollar disc.

I have two first run Am Nationals Z-Magnets left.  I'm hoping that someday they will be worth the $25 I paid for them, but I'm not lowering the price!
