QuoteSaturday's glow round will not be using any of the temporary holes, so Todd, Damon, et al - you can pack up your baskets after the round if you want to take them home that night.
that's cool - not sure I can stay for glow.
thanks,
Damon

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

mirth

that's partially why I decided against using the temps for glow.

 I'll be there for glow!!! Can't wait.  Now I learned how to tape on the glow sticks.

Is it possible that 36 holes could be wrapped up before 2pm ? Does anyone expect the tourney to run shorter in time or longer.
"The use of drugs is a perverse expression of individualism, antisocial and life-denying,It isn't an assertion of individuality; it's a substitute for it. It's not an attempt to be different when everyone else is becoming more alike; it's a way of copping out. And that's the worst thing you can do."

Doubtful. If the rounds get started around 10 like I hope then the lunch break will be from 12:15 to 1:15 and the 2nd round from 1:30 to a little before 4.

Times are, of course, dependant on turnout, organizational level of TD, weather conditions, and skill of players.

Maybe if we played 2x around the course without a break...

So are you guys letting pro's play in their own division or what?
What division is Terry playing in if this a AM only tournament.
I would like to come down also but only if there is going to be a small field of pro's at least.

A week ago I knew there were going to be 3 of us playing in the Open Division. I think Dan may do the pee pee tuck & run into the women's division :D  since Terry might come. I'm planning on playing Open unless no one else plays then i'll play advanced. ft you want to come take my $, it won't be hard.

Yes, those wishing to play for cash or whose rating is higher than the Adv/Pro break will be playing in the Open division.

Terry, if he comes, would be playing in Open

People who are playing glow -

If you want to attach glowsticks to your discs we will have some clear packing tape available. However, it would be a good idea to bring your own if you can as it will help us get out on the course a little faster.

Glowsticks will be available for purchase as well, 2 for $1.

so how many people are expected to attend it?  are turnouts pretty good generally?

Greg,

I'm anticipating at least 30, based on preregistrations and people who have contacted me to say they're coming. If we get more than that then I'll be very happy.

Hope to see you!

Oh, this is our first unsanctioned singles tournament of the year. In the past we've averaged over 30.

I'm bringing some 150 z-Flicks and 150 z-Talons for those of you who wanted to check out Discraft's new 150 z-line.  I also have some full weight Flicks, which should be great windy drivers.

These are $12 cash, $18 funny, because I'm not getting a deal from Discraft.  But you are getting a deal from me.  I have not seen the Flicks marked lower than $15 anywhere, yet.

TWC & Intellicast both say 20% or less. I doubt it'll rain on us.

Windy, ya... it'll be a little breezy out.

Got an email a little while ago, one more am and another in the women's division expected!
