SUMMER LEAGUE 2003

WOW!! I just sat down & started organizing the summer best shot league. We have a ton of crap going on.



Please, print a copy of the attachment & read it over carefully (PLEASE CHECK FOR SCHEDULING MISTAKES). This will be a 14 week league. The Iillinois Open is on August 10th (we will not have leagues this day) & that is why summer leagues are not 15 weeks.



There will be 2 dates @ Parkside & 2 dates @ Faifield. The other 10 will be at Bevier. I held off on what holes we'll be playing at Bevier because of the new holes. Not sure when B will get done so it will be on a week to week basis.

Well, after just glancing over it I have a couple suggestions....



Replace the word SPRING with SUMMER in all the places you've copied text from the message board.



Ace pool - Half carries over & half goes to the club? I thought there was a playoff for at least part of that cash... Of course, that could be my swiss-cheesed memory acting up again.



You may wish to explain the late fee a little better....



3rd now pays if attendance is at least 20? Thought that was 22 in the past....



For points, why not just say 1st 10, 2nd 8, yada yada, 6th 1, 7th 1, etc... Its kinda confusing to say that you get 9 points here, then elsewhere you say 10 points.

Umm... it looks fine. The only thing I personally don't like about how you have the schedule done is the mixing of non-league events with league events...



Yeah, its good to have them in there to promote other things that we have going on, but it sorta makes it look like all those events are part of leagues. After all, that's the league schedule you're posting...



Again, just my opinion and does not represent the radio & television stations that broadcast or the newspapers that may reprint it. :D
