I have a totally sweet Tigger in production along with Chilly Willy.  You know the Bears' new logo, a two color grizzly face with big incisors?  That one is in production also.

This is a fairly accurate picture of the Bear except that the rim is not darker.  That is an artifact.

I sold that Bear and started another.  The Chilly Willy and the Tigger are almost done and I'm looking forward to putting up pics.

I'm testing the new Innova DX plastic to see how it dyes.  It is rubbery and grippy compared to what they used to call DX.  It feels like it should dye.  I'm test dying a D'Orc.

The scanner exaggerates the discoloration around the rim and maybe it will clean up a little before anyone see this in person.  Also the scanner puts in some fuzzy shadows that are not there in real life.  I'm happy with the way it turned out:

I put a white piece of paper inside the disc on this one to minimize the shadow.  This is on a Z XL:

This Tigger is a "first run" and is priced at $10,000.  If no one buys it, I'll give it to Diana.  Subsequent run Tiggers will be priced at $25 or so.

I sold the Chief and the Chilly tonight to the same customer for $45.  He had serious disc munchies.  He bought two non-dyed discs before he even saw the specials.  He asked how long I'd be there and I said maybe another hour.  45 minutes later he was back with a $50 bill.

I'll try to get a few more Chillys done because I enjoy doing them.  A Chilly and a Bear work great together to use up one sheet of masking paper.

Wow, that Chief disc looked amazing.  I play on the Illini Disc Golf team (the "Frolfing Illini") and we were just talking about how awesome it would be if someone dyed a disc like that.  We are hosting a tournament in a couple weeks and I believe the discs we are giving away in the players pack are going to be Rocs with a big illinois "I" on them...  if the university lets us get by the licensing issues.  We are only a club team after all.

Thank you for the compliment.  The Chief was far more work than I have time to do right now.  We will have a lot of my "original" dyed discs at the Illinois Open Series.  Check it out.  www.brasscash.com.  Maybe the team should make a road trip.

I did three Yodas tonight and a Statue of Liberty.  I may post pictures next week.  Kelsey is being very helpful in finding interesting pictures and photoshopping them into disc art formats.

We actually just took a trip this weekend to the US Collegiate Championships in Bowling Green....  Took a distant second to WKU, the hosting school.  With our tournament to host and the rest of the semester to consider, I doubt the team will collectively make it to any of the stops.  I will most likely be living in the north suburbs this summer so I will definitely try to make it to at least one Open Series tournament.  Maybe I will see you around.

cool!  hope to see u out there.  that collegiate thing sounded pretty cool.  wish they would have had that a few years ago and it would've been EIU taking 1st place with 2 michlers on the team!   :D

Yoda says, "There is no disc.  Buy or not buy!  Hmmmm?"

The first Yoda is on a green Spider.  If you are an orthodox Rocman, it would be sacreligous to have a Spider, but it is a nice, underrated upshot disc.

The Liberty Heads are on Beasts.  The Beasts were a pale femmy blue but with the dark blue dye they look like they were white.
