RULE: 803.05  UNSAFE LIE

A. A player may, by adding one penalty throw, declare his or her lie to be an unsafe lie and relocate to a new lie that is no closer to the hole and within five meters of the unsafe lie. Or, if the player cannot find a lie that suits him or her within five meters of the unsafe lie, the player may, with two penalty throws, relocate to any new lie on the fairway of the hole in play that is no closer to the hole than the unsafe lie.

that is cool. i'm still trying to learn the rules. it didn't effect the outcome & i think you still would have had a 3 from there anyway.

i just don't like that rule myself. i've taken many shots from down in that ditch. the one thing i don't like is that you would have had a tough upshot from down in the ditch. you probably would have taken a three but a two would have taken a miracle shot. from the lie you got for relief, you had a good look at the basket. Jim almost nailed it for a 2. the relief took a bad drive & made it a pretty good one. that is what i don't like about it.

Great day for disc today. Awesome turnout, great throwing by Shawn & Myk. 11 down! Got a lot done at the club meetin afterwards.

Please check attached weekly scores. There is a huge battle for 2nd & 3rd place between Myk, Jay, Jim, Jojo, & Mirth.

points after week 9. looks like jim & myk have a battle for 2nd & jay, mirth, jojo, & shawn battling to take over the 3rd position from Jim. rememer- any point ties for prize positions will play a sudden death playoff starting at hole #1

sorry, i'll attach it later. forgot. jim is the only one who has a shot to move into 2nd place. either jim or myk are going to finish 2nd. if jim screws up, then the others would have a chance to steal 3rd from him.

We ended up averaging 11.3 players per week. I think that is the best we've done in any leagues. I expect that to drop a little in the winter but pick up again in the spring. I can't wait to see discs skipping & sliding across the pond this winter!

I think I speak for everyone when I say..."Damn Brett!!! What has gotten into you!". At the begining of the summer you moved yourself down to Am, then back up to Adv. after a couple weeks of summer play, then last weekend you were 1 point short of tying for second in the Pro division at the Blast. You're taking 'roids, aren't you.

As a fellow spankee, may I suggest  that you take up fishing or skeet shotting as an alternative to leagues.  We really do not want you to humiliate yourself and dishonoring your family name.

How come the web-site says that you start at 9:30?  I thought that it was 10:30?  are you starting earlier now?  What time does league usaully end?  I'm just wondering if I can make it and also make my godsons b-day party without being to late for cake.

What about traveling to other courses?  I would love to get in some time at Round Lake, Parkside, or Adler with the club.
