QuoteI might go to this.  Yet another tournament at a course I have never played...
It is always fun to play new courses (maybe not at tournies), but fun nonetheless. Try to get there at least an hour and a half early so you can play the course(s) and get a real feel for them. There are tight holes and plenty of elevation change. All types of shots required. Got to play with Brett on the leader card last year. Got schooled  :D !

I dont know, but do you think that they will do the special thing for the pre-reg. players, because Homies wasn't advertised in DGWN and not alot of people knew where to send pre-regesterations?

Probably in the morning. :D

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??

By "cartable" you mean?

Using a cart to carry your bag? Kind of. Maybe 1 or 2 holes you may have some trouble, but I'm not sure because I haven't been there in a year.

It is highly cartable.  Most of the old guy ams who play out there use carts.

Well teeoff is @ 9:30, so I'll probably leave Elwood at 6:00. Good luck to all who are playing.

Homie was a very well run tournament in my opinion. I had fun. I shot a 19 up on the red course and even on the blue. I was almost 1 down.(Missed the birdie put on my last hole, 14)

I'm guessing you got another ace, and this time got in on the fund!

Congrats on both!
Don't forget your towel!

The Homie was run half-assed in a half a dozen different ways, but they have two fun courses and a large field of players, and we can forgive a lot of stuff when we get both lunch and dinner!  Congratulations on winning the ace pool.  I'll probably be back next year.

the Homie was alot of fun as always.  maybe they should put the cards for 1 course somewhere several yards away from the cards for the other though.  there seemed to be alot of confusion among players as to which course they were on and it didn't help that 100 people had to swarm the hole assignments at once.

I have to admit it really isn't fair to the people who can't throw as well as the Pros and advanced to have CTP's for everybody on all the holes on the red course.

Hopefully next year I won't have to see Steve O. eating a raw burg! Uggg!

Wow, that course was tough.  Two worst tournament rounds I have ever shot.  Still had a good time, and I definitely want to make it out there to play a few rounds again.

always a fun time

i shot   + 4  red  -3  blue

i did not putt well at all

as usual kaos reigned but thats half the fund

maps of the course helped

i agree seperate places for the hole assignments would have been cool

love the people love the food before and after

fun to play with mitch and mike round 1

joe from lansing and i played together both rounds, he finished with 3 birdies on the short tight blue holes over by the playground, he finished fifth

how many discs went into the water ?

i saw  3   1 in practice 2 during the round poor guy took  double circle 7  then a 5 on the next hole and was par the rest of the way i think

fly on homie
