I played Sat. and during the players meeting Gary asked about sactioning the tournament for next year. About 50% said that would be cool and would agree on sactioning it. So, hopefully next year....

I thought I'd just add .....

I am helping Gary with some of the behind the scenes stuff for the tournaments down here.  I really think that he's going to consider sanctioning the lower divisions.  I've talked to him on various occasions on it and so have others, including the TDs of the IOS.  So, if all goes well, it won't just be Channahon that gets a sanctioned Saturday event.  It could be all .... and I think with Joliet hosting the Illinois State tournament .. all divisions SHOULD be sanctioned.  I plan on showing Gary the PDGA result page from IOS #7. Out of 90 players, 50 weren't PDGA members.  One of his fears is if he sanctions, it will scare away the non-PDGA members because of the $5 fee.
