I forgot to mention we'll be taking 2006 club renewals and 2006 PDGA renewals. You save $5.00 on your PDGA renewal if you join thru the club. These will go out near the first of the year.

Meeting Minutes for 11/20 Club meeting

In attendance:  Dan, Brett, Allan, Tom M., KVN L., Neal S., Nick S., KVN's kid.

1) Finances

Club has about 1700 in the bank.  We are in good financial standing.

2)  2005 Memberships

76 members for 2005!!!

3)  2006 Tag Design Contest

The #3 Tag Design was the winner and will be used for the 2006 Club Bag Tags.  It was designed by Sergio Correa.  Thanks Sergio!  Also thanks to Jon Brakel, Jose Diaz, and Tim Steward who also submitted designs.  It was a close vote.

4)  Club Elections

No new candidates have expressed interest.

5)  2006 Membership renewal drive

Going swell

6)  PDGA affiliate club membership renewal

Save 5 bucks and renew your PDGA membership through the club.  Renewals are due by Jan. 1st if you want to do it through the club.

7)  Volunteers to run leagues

Tom McManus expressed interest in helping out with running leagues when Brett and Al are not able to make it on Sundays.  Anybody else who is interested in helping out should contact Brett or Al to let them know they'd like to see how our leagues are run.

8.)  Widdershins

See widdershins thread.  All went well and mirth did a great job.  10 player packs were left over and were added to the club stock.

9)  Site Stats

Over 19,000 unique visitors in 2005.  This is already more than in 2004.  We discussed ideas about how to capitalize on the success of the website.

CFR Program to raise sponsorship for next year.
With the amount of traffic the website is drawing each year selling space to disc golf companies.
How to raise sponsorship $ for events?

i realize that there are very few businesses that profit from disc golf, but maybe some of the walgreens' that sell discs would be interested in sponsoring a little bit, or the local restaurants, there are always people looking for advertising space, and i deffinetly did not design anything, those are all far outside the range of my art skills
