Hanging out at my brothers house in Bisbee AZ right now, just got here from playing in the last PDGA sanctioned tourny of the year and playing some other sweet courses in Pheonix.  After driving str8 threw from carbondale I was tired as hell for the first round of the Fountain Hills tourny.  The course was sweet and very challenging.  They had the long tees in and most of the baskets were angling down to the lake.   Shot solid golf other then the first round and only went OB twice which was sick over 4 rounds and all of the OB they had.  I was tied for first with 3 holes left in the 4th round and got a duece on a tough hole.  After he missed his put on the last hole I only had to par from 30 feet away with a hill behind to win.  Joe could not find his game and lost most of his main drivers in the lake but still finnished.

A great tournament.  Course was excellent with some spectacular views of the mountains.  Whole course goes counter-clock wise around a bird feces infested lake.  Course made to be dominated for lefties so it is no surprise that neal won.  A long course with only a couple of wholes under 350 but these were technical holes with some skilled shots needed.  Lost some drivers but ended the tourny with a considerdably heavier bag than others.  Neal and my self must have seen at least 10 CFR Wraiths go to rest in a watery grave.  Wish I could go fishing for them but the lake is filled with re-used waste water and bird feces.  The tourny could of been better organized and the payouts where less than satisfying. (Neal only got 6 discs and an old hat for winning advanced.)  With some concrete tee boxes including alternates the course could become the course of AZ.

Let us hope that the whores of evil no longer loiter on the doorsteps of your path beckoning you into the brothel of despair, and that here and after may present them with the most rigid manistfestation of a firm and manly will.

Joe nice find.  I have not really found many pictures of the course on line.  I just checked and the results for the tournament are up on PDGA but their is no round ratings yet.

Those pictures look nothing like any of the flagstaff courses and they are only a few hours away.

Some early ratings are up.  My second round was 1017 SWEET!  followed by 996 and 995.  My first round at the course was 941.  This should boost my overall rating when the next update rolls around.

nice going, now everybody can pull out their little diaries where we all keep track of what neal does and make an entry for today.  neal is a pretty quiet kid.  he only decides to talk when its about himself.

FYI Neal, they posted ratings updates 2 days ago!  feel free to check them out.
