OK BUT WHY?

We are working on a sponsorship from BWW. I want people to see that we are disc golfers when we walk in there.

So if you go out to Fairfield on an afternoon when nobody else is there.  You play two discs off each hole through 18 holes.  Do you beat yourself? :nono: :nono:

Club Meeting 3/26 at Buffalo Wild Wings

Meeting Minutes

In attendance:  Jon, Becky, Maddisen, Brett, Mirth, Tom M., Tom S., Dan, Doug W.

1.  Finances

We discussed a fund raising possibility.  Through charitymania.com, we can raise money for the club by selling raffle tickets for an NFL fantasy game.  Tickets would be 20 bucks a piece.  The club would only have to committ 25 dollars to get in it.  Each ticket sold would raise 14 dollars for the club.  Money raised would go towards added cash for tournaments.

2.  Bevier expansion

6 new holes will be added across McAree.  Bevier will be a full 18 hole course!

3.  LCFP

Disc golf may be added to the agenda for the April meeting.

4.  72 memberships have been purchased for 2006 as of Sunday.

5.  IOS #1

Tee and pin placements along with distances have been posted by Brett.  Course looks to be in excellent condition.

6.  Brett will represent the Club at the next Round Lake Area Park District Meeting.

Possible improvements to Fairfield will be discussed.

What is the status of the fund raising?  Charitymania.com is invovled with a number of well established high profile groups that sponsor local youth sports teams.  These are long standing legitimate groups that use charitymania as a fund raising tool.  I think this is a great idea that gives the club an opportunity to raise some cash and to also raise the profile of the club.
