Road Trip - Father's Day Weekend

I've been granted a weekend pass for (most of) Father's Day weekend and I'm considering heading to Geneseo or Highbridge for one of the Saturday C-tiers they're having.  I'm taking Friday off and I'd like to play three or four courses that day as warm-up for the tourney.  If it's Highbridge, then obviously play the multiple courses they have up there.  If it's Geneseo, play either Peoria or the Quad Cities.

Lodging would probably be camping at Highbridge or my parents house in Davenport.  I'll be back in the Chicago metro area by Sunday afternoon.

   Highbridge is spectacular. It's a haul to get to and there is not much around there. If you go make sure you pack a lunch and drinks so you can eat at the course. Bring some toilet paper too .

I'm playing the Iron Lion Safari in Geneseo on Saturday.  C-tier sponsored by Chase's store in Moline, it's about as far as Peoria, maybe closer if you coming from the northern suburbs.  Nice course, hilly, just off I-80.
