synopsis:
What is Disc Golf Charity Marathon?
This October and November, the 2006 Disc Golf Charity Marathon is your chance to have a great time playing disc golf while supporting a fantastic cause. The 2006 Disc Golf Charity Marathon will take place at courses around the world to raise awareness and valuable funds for the fight against cancer.
Play Disc Golf. Fight Cancer.
This year's Disc Golf Charity Marathon will benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation in their mission to find a cure for cancer while supporting cancer survivors around the world. Since its inception in 2003, the Disc Golf Charity Marathon has raised more than $50,000 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

I saw an ad for the disc golf magazine in the most recent disc golf magazine.  The link is http://www.discgolfmarathon.com but none of the links on the page work...or at least the ones that tell me where they are, etc.  Does anyone know more about this?  Is there one being held in IL?

Thanks

1st I heard of this..

I would be a solid supporter for this if I had a little more lead time...
If its legitimate I feel that a temp course could be constructed at Condell Hospital in Libertyville and filled with the people from the hospital and the Centre Club plus other disc golfers..

18 Holes are out there. I would need 18 Baskets I personally own zero.

If its a viable deal and some one likes the idea let me know. Ill get with the peeps at Condell and pitch it to them for approval.

FYI Condell has mucho manicured mature property as well as an overabundance of folks that are willing to donate there cash for such a benefit.

If it didnt work out at least the club got a great place to play for the weekend without being arrested.

I plotted out 9 great holes before they acquired a primo chunk of property last year and Im confident that 9 or more exist.
