So this means that Bruce is disqualified for #10 since the image can come up as a broken link (partially because I think it's trying to accessed from a remote site).  From doing the quote I was able to get the link and see the image.

and of course now that I have directly visited the page the picture is in my cache and works perfectily :)

My personal opinion is that BWW is a great place to hang out and eat and drink but not so great a place to have a meeting. I can only hear what someone is saying when it is the person right next to me. I would also like to suggest a smoke free area for our meetings. I would be glad to accommodate the smoking attendees by taking a smoke break during the meeting if it is needed rather than all of us sit in a smoking section.

Pizza Hut is much more convenient after leagues than BWW. The seating arrangement also works out better for a meeting.

damn, 12:15 here at work and looking at that menu has my mouth watering.... :icon_silent:

Maybe have an IOS at Bevier next year once the additional 6 holes are in?

Playing there Saturday made me realize how much I like that course and what Discontinuum has done with the land there.

Plus, of the 3 times I've played there, I've come away with something each time.
Mirth & I won doubles, won a CTP at the club invitational, and won the CTPs on Saturday.

Meeting minutes

In attendance:  Mirth, Brett, Jon, Becky, Maddisen, Mike C., Tom M., Dan, Mitch, Damon

1. Finances---Club has about $4,000 cash.
2. 2007 Tag Contest----Tag#4 Designed by Sergio won the Tag Contest.  Nice work Serg!  He gets a free 2007 membership for winning the contest.
3. Elections----Club elections for Officer positions begin November 13th.  Send your vote to Brett Comincioli via PM or email before December 10th.  At the December Club meeting, winners will be announced.
4.  Bevier Expansion--- The WPD is done moving dirt across McAree.  The new holes will be finished some time next Spring, making Bevier a permanent 18 hole course.
5. IOS 7--Good times.
6. League Update--We still need subs to help run Sunday leagues when Allan and Brett are not able.  Mitch said he may be able to.
7.  New ideas for 2007.  We discussed a possible Wednesday night league at Warren Township.  This would be dependent on the baskets for 8 and 9 being installed.   Also Tom M. brought up an idea of only allowing Club Members to be in the ace pool at Leagues in an effort to promote membership.
8.  Tourney sponsorship---We disussed possibly using the Club Funds to sponsor an IOS event next year, making it a Pro/Am B tier.  The event would have the name "Discontinuum" in the event title.
9.  Website got lots of hits.
10. Monthly E-newsletter--- Jon said if he is elected Secretary, he will take over writing the monthly E-newsletter.
11.  Other topics?  We each had 3 dollars worth of pizza.  I'm still hungry.
