It was the meteor shower night last night so we drove an hour and a half up into the Thumb where the stars are good.  We camped on the beach and it was a pretty good show.  We didn't see any Twisted Whistlers but several came in low enough that the final burn out included a big burst of light.  At times we'd see three or four in a minute and then there were times where we wouldn't see any for four or five minutes.  Around 2 a.m. everyone fell asleep so about 2:30 I got everyone up to go home.
