Dineen's First Sanctioned Event - Milwaukee, WI

Carla and I played on Christmas Day. The teepads are clumpy and hard. Actually was "dangerous" to play off of some of them. Hopefully some of the warmer weather has softened them so they can be manipulated a little more. I played behind almost half of the pads...especially the holes that were a little longer. The course was also pretty wet in some places.

Terry: Will we be able to stand behind the teepad if they are still clumpy?

P.S. Sorry if I made the course seem ugly; it's definitely a fun time out there. I was just giving a heads up as to what you might want to bring with you: extra shoes and pants would be good for the drive home. If you have gaiters I would suggest wearing them.

Awesome - 52 players at the event.  That's almost as many events as Steve Slater has played in this year .

Congrats to Tom McManus for bringing another Wisconsin Trophy back to Illinois.  Eric McCluskey also brought back a title after a 4 hole playoff battle!  Congrats to all of the winners and to everyone else that wanted to be a part of Dineen's first ever sanctioned event.

All of the pins were in the SHORT locations so these numbers will provide great stats for where the pins might be located for the Am Worlds.  We will still need to play some rounds in the all LONG placements but at least this is a start. 

The golf was complete, the ace pool was decided, the prizes were awarded, and the money was all handed out and it was still earlier than 4pm!  A huge thanks to everyone that pre-registered because that helps enormously.   

SCORES are posted.  The PDGA report has already been turned in and it will be included in all 2006 season stats. 

Random Beaver Round Up III is next (January 13th) and I hope to see all of you at the fun and unique event!

There are many things that can go right and many things that can go wrong when it comes to running events.  Timely and correct reporting is something I'm almost always on top of! 

Thank you to everyone that came to any of my events in past years, in 2006, or any upcoming events. 

I hope to see you guys at the Random Beaver Round Up III.
