June 21st is for Rec and Int. June 22nd is Advanced and Pro. Since the next Fairfield work day is the the 21st, I'm going to play up to Advanced on Sunday.

Anyone else going?

I'm Pickled.

I think this is Ryan Hornickel's second or third year running the Pickle Open. Mike Mueller used to do it before he passed on, then Barry Schultz took over. It is a sweet course - friendly folks and well-run.

But watch out for the Juniors. Those kids (and I'm talking 10-yr-olds) can drive 300+ ft!!!

They usually have a Friday night doubles glow thang, which is awesome. Don't know about that this year.

I ain't touching THAT one!

But I'm glad you had fun and that Gary supports our efforts!

The Shorewood Shootout was fun. There were about 70 players at the Sunday tournament. I heard there were close to 90 on Saturday. I never got in the groove but had a lot of fun. Played with some good guys. I finished 24 out of 32. We played three rounds of 18, starting with the long tees and finishing with the longs, playing the shorts in between. I shot +4, -4, +2 respectively. I've played the shorts at -8 but just didn't have it on Sunday. I was glad to say that at the end of the day I had not missed a mando all day.

I pimped the Illinois Open as much as possible. Gary let me put flyers out on the table by his flyers and I donated a tie dye towel that Gary gave out as part of a CTP package. Gary said that he was glad to see us running a PDGA event up there and that he was thinking about playing in it. He hasn't played a PDGA event in 10 years, so I think its cool he's considering coming to ours! If he comes it'll be a little bit like if Jesus was coming to hear me give a sermon!

Could I possibly play any worse if I didn't practice putting??
